The Strength of the Bond of Brotherhood

The response to this effort has been amazing. I want to thank EVERYONE for support the Upsilon Chapter of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. We received a few great notes from the alumni of other chapters and I want to share them with you.

Barney Seaton from the Gammpa Pi Chapter writes:

I am an alumni of Gamma Pi chapter. In 1989 I arrived at the F & M chapter house in the middle of the night needing a place to sleep. Your chapter took me in and treated me like one of their own. I will never forget the brotherhood shown to me.

We thank you Barney for your generous donation. Delta Sigma Phi is built on the notion of brotherhood. The bond is not limited to the brothers in each chapter but extends between chapters. The bond of brotherhood is a national sentiment.

Victor Jeong from the Gamma Epsilon Chapter writes:

Having been part of a second rechartering , I know the importance of having a House. We currently have a housing fund created by the alumni for the time when we have achieved critical mass to purchase a house again for our new brothers for a third rechartering... Hope this helps.

The generosity from Delta Sig alums all over the nation is a testament to how strong the bond can be between fraternity men. Even in difficult economic times such as now, brothers are doing what they can to help. Delta Sig Alum Nolan Graff from Albion College in Michigan writes that he will gladly donate when he visits blog. While he is currently out of a job, he has still offered us $20- $50.

Our house is extremely important to our brotherhood. For most of us, our four years college are defined by the time we spend in our chapter houses. Once again, thank you to everyone for recognizing how important our chapter house is to the Upsilon Chapter.
